How does the Vex Clothing rental service work?

Our rental service allows you to wear luxury latex fashion for a fraction of the retail price. Simply choose your item, select your rental period, and place your order. We’ll arrange pickup, delivery, or shipping, and after your event, you return the item using the method discussed.

How long can I rent an item for?

We offer multiple rental options:

  • 3-Day Rental (Perfect for a single event)
  • 6-Day Rental (Ideal for extended wear or multiple occasions)
  • Custom Rental Requests (Contact us for longer rental periods)

Note: If shipping is required, the rental period includes shipping time—so plan accordingly.

What delivery and pickup options are available?

We currently offer the following options:

  • Local Pickup – Pick up your rental directly from our studio in Long Beach, CA.
  • Uber Package Delivery – A fast and reliable option for local deliveries.
  • Shipping (by arrangement) – We can coordinate shipping with you, but rental dates include transit time.

Is the latex pre-shined? Do I need to shine it myself?

Yes! Every rental is professionally cleaned and pre-shined before pickup or shipping, so it arrives in stunning condition. However, we recommend purchasing a shine product for on-the-go touch-ups to keep your latex looking flawless for photos and events.
 Pro Tip: Bright lights and flash photography can dull latex over time. Adding a Vivishine Polish Spray or Viviwipe Shine Cloth to your order ensures your garment stays glossy throughout your wear.

Can I get my rental tailored for a better fit?

Yes! We may offer professional tailoring on certain garments for an additional fee to ensure your rental fits perfectly.

  • Minor adjustments for a snugger fit
  • Custom tweaks for a sculpted silhouette

If you’re interested in tailoring, contact us before placing your order so we can discuss customization options.

What happens if my rental doesn’t fit?

Since latex has a unique fit, we highly recommend checking our size chart before ordering. If you’re unsure, we offer tailoring services to perfect the fit. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for sizing issues.

Can I rent multiple items at once?

Yes! You can rent multiple pieces in a single order, as long as they are available for your chosen rental period.

What if I don’t see the latex design I want?

We specialize in custom latex design! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, consider our custom design service to create a one-of-a-kind piece tailored to your vision. Learn more here.

What is included in the rental price?

Your rental price includes:
✔ The rental garment(s) for your selected duration
✔ Professional cleaning and pre-shining
✔ A refundable damage deposit (It is held as an authorization hold that will be released upon return of your rental)
Additional fees may apply for:
✔ Tailoring services
✔ Late returns
✔ Shipping (if applicable)

What if I damage or stain the rental item?

Minor wear is expected, but if the item is significantly damaged or stained, a repair fee may apply.

  • If the item is damaged beyond repair or lost, you will be charged the full retail value of the garment.
  • If the damage is fixable, a partial fee will be deducted from your deposit.
Do you require a damage deposit?

Yes, a refundable damage deposit will be authorized on your card at checkout. It will be released once the item is returned in acceptable condition.

What happens if I return my rental late?

Late returns will incur a late fee per day. This fee varies by item.

  • If the item is not returned within 12 days, you will be charged the full retail value of the item.
Can I cancel my rental?

Yes! You can cancel up to 72 hours before your rental period begins for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the rental period will incur a cancellation fee equal to the 3-day rental fee of the items.
How do I return my rental?

Returns must be made by the agreed-upon method:

  • Local customers: Drop-off or Uber Package return
  • Shipped rentals: Must be arranged with us, insured, and tracked.

Please return items on time to avoid late fees!

How should I store my rental while I have it?
  • Keep your latex away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Store it flat or on a padded hanger in a cool, dark place.
  • Avoid sharp objects or jewelry that could puncture or stain the material.
